The Lecture is the grand finale of the Mandela100 Centenary celebration and the beginning of an annual tradition.

Building a World beyond Them and Us. The Lecture will be delivered by writer and opinionista Sisonke Msimang (South Africa), an outspoken voice in the conversation about colour, exclusion, gender and decolonisation. In 2017, she published Always Another Country, a Memoir about Exile and Home followed by The Resurrection of Winnie Mandela late 2018. Msimang is a regular contributor to The Guardian and The New York Times amongst others.
The Lecture will be part of a programme with performances by Faso Danse Théâtre (formerly Les Ballets Contemporaines de la Belgisque), singer songwriter Jeangu Macrooy, Adriaan van Dis, Bram Vermeulen and ZO Gospel Choir.
